Extra Large Pie Safe
Before the advent of refrigeration, the pie safe was a mainstay in the kitchen because it was where baked goods, dried food and staples like flour were stored. Although cupboards, built in pantries, and refrigerators have largely replaced pie safes in our modern kitchens, the pie safe still has its place as an add-on pantry or even in another room as a storage center for linens, books, CD’s and DVD’s, or other knick-knacks. The Homestead mural on the doors is beautifully hand-painted by area folk artists. Dimensions: 39 ½” x 14 ½” x 65”.
